Language: Be consistent!
Before
writing that next literary masterpiece, business document or ideological
manifesto, decide which form of the English language you're going to use and
stick to it. This will help your readers feel secure that they are indeed only
in one place at a time.
So, if you
begin your tome in Australian English, don't mix colours and neighbors with
organizations and doughnuts. Decide right from the start whether Miss Susan
Boyle Dreamed her Dream or Dreamt it. And, for goodness sake, stay away from
grey fibers!
Did you pick
the interlopers in the above little folly? Here's a list:
colours colors
neighbours neighbors
organisations organizations
doughnuts donuts
dreamt dreamed
grey gray
fibres fibers
Till next
time, Kiddies.
World peace.

“Carol Dorman helped with research and copywriting for an internet based product launch in the real estate industry that has grossed well over $200,000. Her research was insightful and thoughtful and worded persuasively. A real asset to have on the team, and very solid worker.”
